The Austin Steel Guitar Fest (ASGF), a 3-day steel guitar festival produced by SteelRadio the first weekend of October 2026 in Austin, TX. The concept is presenting "Legacy" players along with the younger players making music and touring today. PLUS, the resumption of inductions to the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame (SGHOF), three new members.

When:

Thursday Oct. 1 • will feature steel guitar instruction sessions during the daytime, and steel guitar combos playing the Marriott Austin South lounge area, from the afternoon into the evening.

Friday Oct. 2 •      Steel Guitar featured players with top Austin stage band, 10 am - 12 midnight CT in Ballroom, set lengths will be 30 minutes, some longer

                            • Non-Pedal Stage, Steel Guitar Featured non-pedal players with top Austin stage band, 10 am - late afternoon

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday Oct. 4 -> Oct. 6: steel guitar shows TBA in local music clubs, likely to include Continental Club & Sagebrush Austin.

The ASGF will include the induction of three new members to the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame (SGHOF) on Sat. Oct. 2, 2026:

• David "Feet" Rogers, posthumously

• Junior Brown

• Lucky Oceans
